In an effort to help prevent oil spills, Scotia Fuels has been installing oil trays under every customer’s burner and oil filter(s) wherever possible. The trays are designed to capture and contain small oil leaks. Oil trays will catch drips and small leaks before they become a major concern at a property and will prevent oil from spreading out onto the floor. Homeowners are alerted of a spill through either smell of oil or from an optional alarm, which can be purchased through Scotia Fuels.
