Tuesday Night Tunes at Museum Courtyard – Running 7-8 PM until August 30, this weekly event features performances for all musical tastes – from Acadian and Celtic to sea shanties, African drumming, classical, roots and jazz. https://maritimemuseum.novascotia.ca/tuesday-night-tunes

Halifax International Busker Festival – From August 1-6, day and night, you and your family can enjoy this long-running, world-famous street performing extravaganza, including everything from fire-breathers and acrobatics, to comedians and magicians. https://buskers.ca/

AFRIFEST – The African Festival of Arts & Culture, being held from July 20 – 22, showcases the visual and performing arts of Africa, as well as, the culture of people of African descent.  This year’s festival will attract and accommodate the attention of performers from Montreal, Toronto, Nigeria, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Cameroon, Ghana, the Caribbean and Italy. http://www.afacs.org/event/2018-afrifest/

Natal Day Celebrations – With parades, fireworks, concerts and other activities in between, Halifax-Dartmouth offers plenty of family fun from August 3-6.  www.natalday.org

Halifax Pride Festival – Now in its 31st year, the Halifax Pride Festival is one of the largest events of its kind in Canada; highlighted by the parade on July 21sthttps://www.halifaxpride.com/festival-information/

Waterfronts of Halifax and Dartmouth – Just looking for a quiet stroll?  Day or night, the harbour boardwalks of downtown Halifax and Dartmouth beckon you to take your time and enjoy the impressive landscapes on both sides of the Harbour.
